MEET OUR SCHOOL SUPPORT TEAM


Tonya Barber- Mrs. Barber has been teaching at RES for 12 years, 7 of those years as a Title I Reading teacher. She grew up in North Carolina and earned a BS in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is married to her husband, Brandon, of 12 years and has 2 sons Braxton and Madden. She enjoys crafting, photography, and spending precious time with her family.


Ruth Beveridge- Mrs. Beveridge has been a teacher for 15 years and has experience teaching elementary, middle school, Title I, and college. This is her second year at RES as a Title III EL teacher and she is thrilled to be part of the RES team. She grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Virginia to attend Liberty, where she earned a BS in Elementary Education and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. She has been married to her husband Dan for 18 years and they have 4 children: Gracie, Eva, Jake, and Luke. She enjoys reading, running, crafting, and spending time with family.


Jamie Miller- Mrs. Miller has been teaching for 15 years, 7 of those years as a Title I Reading Teacher.  She grew up in West Virginia and earned a BS in Elementary Education from Concord University and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia.  She is married to her husband of 11 years, Chaz, and has 3 sons Charlie, Mason, and Bennett. She enjoys singing, exercising, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.


Kristen Stafford- Ms. Stafford has been teaching for 15 years, 10 of those years as a Title I Reading Teacher.  She grew up in West Virginia and earned a BS in Elementary Education from Concord University, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia, and an endorsement in Administration and Supervision from Longwood University .  Ms. Stafford loves the students and staff at RES and finds joy in each day she is able to learn alongside them. She also enjoys reading, listening to music, traveling, serving and volunteering in the community, as well as, spending time with her family and friends.
