Mrs. Dalton grew up on a farm in Gretna, VA, but now lives in Lynchburg. She got her teaching degree from Lynchburg College and began her career in Lynchburg City Schools. She taught 3rd grade for 8 years and is excited to join the 2nd grade team this year. Mrs. Dalton has been married for 9 years and has two children. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her pets, being outdoors, and reading.

Sara Jones
Miss Jones grew up in a tiny town in northern Vermont. She traveled 14 hours from home to attend Lynchburg College where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Virginia stole her heart in those 4 years and she's thankful to have found a new home here! She has taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade and is thankful the Lord called her to teaching as it is truly her passion, purpose, and career all in one. She lives with her boyfriend and adventure partner, Deron, as well as their chocolate lab, Molly. She loves watching sports, going to concerts, crafting, cooking, being outdoors in the woods or on water, and just spending quality time with family and friends!
