This is Mrs. Martin's second full year at RES. She received her degree from Liberty University. In her free time she loves to read, shop, and workout. You can almost always find her in spin class after school and at the bookstore on the weekends. Mrs. Martin loves to travel the world with her husband and has been to 9 countries! She absolutely loves teaching first grade and is very excited about another school year at RES.
LeeAnn Rasey
LeeAnn Rasey is a graduate of Longwood University. This is her 21st year of teaching! She is married and has two sons, Garrett and Graham. You can often find her on the soccer field as she and her husband watch both of their boys play. Mrs. Rasey also LOVES to travel! She enjoys spending time outside with her family and friends. One thing she loves to do in her free time is to BAKE all the yummy things...cookies & cake!!
Teresa Woods is a first grade teacher. This is her second year at Rustburg Elementary School. Mrs. Woods is married to Roger and has 3 grown daughters (including 2 son-in laws) and 2 grandbabies. Her fur babies are beagles and she has a pack of 6. They are her dream pups! When she's not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping with her daughters, playing with her grandchildren, going to the beach, and reading. She also likes to camp and go boat riding. She has been teaching 1st grade for 20+ years. She enjoys watching her students learn and grow. Her students bring so much joy to her heart when they get excited about reading and learning. Mrs. Woods is always excited about learning new things and is looking forward to this new school year.
