Susan Lowman

Librarian

Mrs. Lowman was born and raised in Lynchburg. She attended Radford University for her degree in education and returned to get her master's in education with an endorsement in Library Media. She started teaching in 1998 and has been at RES since 2003! She loves to travel and to spend time outdoors. She is married to Scott and they have one son, Nick, and two dogs, Macy and Poppy.


Book Policies

Students check out books for 1 week. If materials are needed longer, they may be renewed.


Pre-K - 1st check out 1 book at a time.

2nd-5th grade may check out 2 books.


If materials are needed for reports, more books may be checked out.


Lost/Damaged Books


Fines for lost/damaged books will be equal to the original cost of the book. If the book is found before the end of the year, the money will be refunded.

A receipt will be sent home when the fine is paid.
