Left to Right: Miss Miller, Ms. Williams
Krista Miller grew up in Hagerstown, Maryland. She moved to Lynchburg in 2012 to attend Liberty University where she graduated in 2016 with a degree in Elementary Education with a focus in social science. RES became her home when she began teaching fourth grade in 2017. In 2021, Miss Miller graduated from The University of Lynchburg with a Masters in Reading. Miss Miller taught five years in fourth grade and two years in second grade before joining the Title I team! When she is not teaching, Miss Miller enjoys serving at her church, spending time with her friends, reading books, working out, playing pickleball, and cheering on her Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Steelers. She is very excited to meet her students and share her passion for reading with them!

Please help promote literacy throughout RES and encourage your child to participate in this year’s “Sparky’s Reading Program”!
