Mrs. Cormier is a 4th grade teacher here at RES. She grew up in Minnesota but moved to Arizona to attend Arizona State University (Class of 2011). She previously taught for 10 years in Arizona in both 3rd and 1st grade. She moved to Lynchburg with her husband in 2021 and began teaching at RES. When she is not teaching she loves spending time with her husband and dog, Koda. They often enjoy hiking and exploring VA on the weekend. She also loves to travel! Some of her favorite destinations are Greece, Africa, Germany, Belgium, The Bahamas, Lake Tahoe, Myrtle Beach, and Arizona. She also enjoys reading, painting, watching movies, and exercising.
Tammy Heddings received her Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Randolph College, and went on to complete her Masters in Leadership and Lynchburg College. She has been teaching for 14 years, this being her 2nd year at Rustburg Elementary. Mrs. Heddings has served on numerous committees over the years, and looks forward to continuing her educational journey with Campbell County Public Schools. In her free time she loves to read, be near the water, and spend time with her family.
Mrs. Stanley is a 4th grade teacher here at Rustburg Elementary. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Longwood University. She has been teaching for 17 years, this being her 2nd year here. Her husband’s name is Brandon Stanley and she has two children, Camden (11) and Kendall (3). Most of the time you can find Mrs. Stanley at the baseball field or basketball court watching her son do what he loves. She also enjoys traveling, camping, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends.
